Wade is a lifelong Sherwood Park resident with a deep passion for helping kids, youth, and families grow in mind, body, and spirit. For more than twenty-five years, he has coached and mentored young people through basketball, hockey, running, and baseball in schools, camps, and community programs, as well as on his own children’s teams.
Before launching Encounter Community, Wade directed a youth drop-in centre that served thousands of skateboarders and BMX riders, creating a safe and welcoming space for connection and growth.
Vocationally, Wade has served as a pastor for over two decades, focusing on family, youth, and next-generation leadership. He is married to his high school sweetheart, and together they have three children who continue to inspire his vision for building healthy, hope-filled families and communities.
